Choosing a Consultant

How do you pick the consultant that you wish to work with?

The first step is to open a discussion with the people you are considering for a project. Discover if they have the qualities you require.

The second step is to outline your project. You need to know what you expect to achieve, the timeframe you need, and the budget you are prepared to allocate to the project. When you have done this you are in a position to have a realistic discussion with your shortlisted consultants.

The third step is appoint someone in your organisation who has the authority to manage the project and engage with the external consultant.

Good communication between everyone involved will help achieve the results you desire.
